Als wir ankommen, steht sogar ein Wallaby direkt\nneben unserer Parzelle. In der Nacht bricht allerdings ein Sturm \u00fcber\nuns herein. Es wird arsch kalt und windig und panisch stopfe ich\ngegen halb zwei Uhr nachts Elektronik-Kram ins Zelt, w\u00e4hrend Marcus\nschon schl\u00e4ft. Die ganze Nacht \u00fcber ist es windig und auch am\nMorgen: Zwei Hosen, Zwei Pullis + ein Strickpulli, Socken und Schuhe\nund es ist kalt. Ich f\u00fchle mich krank, unausgeschlafen und koche\nerst mal Kaffee. Hier stehen uralte, pr\u00e4chtige River Red Gums\n(<em>Eucalyptus camuldulensis)<\/em> an\ndem ausgetrockneten Flussbett, Mambrey Creek. Es\ngibt jede Menge yellow-footed Rock-Wallabys, die durch die Berge\nh\u00fcpfen und gr\u00f6\u00dfere, Western Grey Kangaroos, die im Red Gumund\nPinien-Wald leben. Da denkt\nman, es sitzt ein Affe im Geb\u00fcsch, aber nein, es ist ein\nKookaburra.:)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am\nEnde des fantastischen Off-Days gibt es Nudeln mit Pesto und\neine kurze Bike Tour zum Handy-Empfang. Wir sind heute exakt einen\nKilometer Rad gefahren und keinen Meter vorangekommen, haben aber\ndaf\u00fcr sehr viel gelernt und sind von der Niedlichkeit der K\u00e4ngurus\ngeflasht worden (Zitat Marcus).
